Ending the Silence Presenter or Storyteller

Presenters and Storytellers will work as needed to deliver NAMI's Ending the Silence presentation to youth, caregivers and school staff throughout Will and Grundy Counties.  Training, support and stipend pay is available.

Ending the Silence is a 50-minute presentation designed for middle school and high school age students. The presentation helps students begin identifying the signs and symptoms of mental health challenges and help them to identify a path for reaching out to a trusted adult for assistance for themselves or a friend. Research has shown that NAMI Ending the Silence is effective in changing middle and high school students’ knowledge and attitudes toward mental health conditions and toward seeking help.
